Rio Grande at Dusk

The Rio Grande river flows through the entire state. This scene is near Las Cruces, NM where there are acres and acres of crops, Pecan trees and the natural forests called the Bosque. This scene is of the bosque along the river. In early spring the water is released from Elephant Butte reservoir so the farmer's can irrigate their fields. This is a backlit scene showing the iridescence of the light on the shallow water.
